Week two of the Riverwalk Market Fair brought delicious locally-made, fresh pastries to the my table from Martha's stall, mouth-sparkling mixed greens and baby bok choy from Tammy's, and delightful garlic scapes from Kathy Z. Local cheese is coming next week, so these French soft cheeses and Northfield's Brick Oven Bakery baguettes are from Just Food Coop. Peace olive oil for the salads of greens and scapes is from groves in Palestinian Jenin distributed by a company in Lake Shore, Minnesota. Broasted root vegetables, not yet ready from local fields, but regionally sourced by Just Food provided the main course. Chilled tap water and a nice California red table wine (box, no bottles or corks) capped off the family lunch. See you at the Market Fair!
