Thank you! The Spring 2005 Exhibition was a great success(over 200 visits).
FOSSILS!!! portrayed how 450 million years ago much of the continent was a tropical
sea ecosystem. For the next 100 million years its life forms
rapidly diversified in response to changing environments.
Exhibits examined the geological record in our rocks
which were once the ancient sea floor, and the fossils of the
animals which inhabited these ancient seas. Patrons learned about
'giant quarry snakes' and the World's Largest Trilobite!!
